I help couples go from the “friend zone” to the “sexy zone” by normalizing conversations about sex.
Angela Skurtu, LMFT-S, CST-S
This intimate couples retreat is a chance to step away from the noise of daily life and reconnect with your partner in a calm, supportive, and thoughtfully guided environment. Set against the serene backdrop of the lake, the weekend is designed to help couples slow down, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, and feel more at ease talking openly about sex, connection, and desire.
Through a blend of guided discussions, experiential exercises, and mind body practices, couples will explore how intimacy lives in both conversation and the body. With support from licensed massage therapists and a certified yoga instructor, the retreat gently weaves relaxation, embodiment, and meaningful dialogue together.

My retreat process is highly personalized, and I don’t do one-size-fits-all. I can be hired to facilitate retreats by churches, community groups, companies, or organizations looking to bring powerful, real-talk relationship work into their events.
I want to make it clear: I will personalize every retreat to fit the unique needs of your group, and I’m always happy to collaborate. I’ve teamed up with yoga instructors, couples massage therapists, pastors, company leadership, and other wellness pros to create well-rounded, transformative experiences.
I deeply respect your value system and will work with your group to facilitate a retreat that fits your needs and values.
Before your retreat, I survey both participants and leadership to design a program that aligns with your goals—whether that’s sexual health education, communication skills, or men’s and women’s empowerment. We kick things off by creating a safe, comfortable space through icebreakers and co-created guidelines that invite vulnerability and trust.
After the event, I gather feedback to continuously improve. My aim? To create a retreat your group wants to attend again and again.
